enyorança (p: [ə ɲu 'ran sə]) - catalan: n. a state of longing

Chronicling the ex-expat life and the desire for something greater. Experiences, thoughts, and ideas formed because of a former lifestyle that's disappeared. Global culture, domestic lifestyle. Consolidated into an outlet that may or may not be interesting to anyone else. Also a kind of travel blog because sometimes I go places. All photography is mine unless credited otherwise.

Sometimes I spend money.

Very few people are going to care, but as I have nothing else to really talk about, here are some pictures from my latest hauls.  Note: I still don't have a job, but I'm starting to get some kind of allowance from my parents (in cash) just so I can buy a few things I need (mostly clothes), and I also have a few gift cards that I need to use.

First haul: Sephora.com - arrived Wednesday, February 15

I originally ordered Yves Saint Laurent Belle d'Opium, but they must have run out.  Eh, I still have some left.  The Lavanila sample is wonderful.  But I'm a vanilla junkie anyway.

Hello Kitty by Sephora eyeshadow/illuminator palette, makeup brush cleaner towels, and bareMinerals sample kit.

Close-up of the bareMinerals kit.  Smaller than I was expecting, but it was free with a $25 order, and it was a sample anyway, I knew that, so I won't complain.  I never complain about free stuff.

Tokidoki mint tin!  It was $3 and it looked cute!

Hello Kitty eyeshadow/illuminator palette box.

What the HK palette looks like outside the box.  SO CUTE.

Illuminating powder.

Eyeshadows.  I tried on the natural ones today and I like them.  Very sheer, but they have a very nice sparkle.

BareMinerals set.

2nd haul: MNG by Mango at JCPenney - purchased Friday, February 17.
I was looking through the MNG section at my local JCPenney because Mango is like my favorite store ever and I love the fact that JCPenney carries some of their stuff, and stumbled upon this and various other city-themed shirts (the others at my store were London and Rome, I'm guessing there's a Paris one somewhere too) on a shelf.  Being the Barcelona addict that I am, I had to buy it.  And at $15, there was really no reason why I couldn't.  I mean come on.

I also picked up a pair of skinny jeans for $17, which is also a steal, especially for a store like Mango.
